Manufacturing Training Services in Rochester, NY

Young Adults Manufacturer Training Employment Program (YAMTEP) is a not-for-profit organization in Rochester, NY that provides manufacturing skills and training services to young adults looking to enter the workforce. We are designed for individuals age 19 or older who have completed the City’s Operation Transformation Rochester (OTR) Employment Readiness program.

Founded in 2015 by Tyrone Reaves, owner of TruForm Manufacturing, YAMTEP is dedicated to helping low-income residents prepare for a career in manufacturing. We strive to assist, train and educate struggling young adults to become self-sustaining individuals in their communities.

YAMTEP is proud to work alongside the City of Rochester, Monroe County, Rochester Works and PathStone Corporation to help young adults become successful members of today’s workforce. Regardless of skill level, our staff is committed to helping individuals change their community status. We provide resume services and job interviews for all those who have completed the OTR Employment Readiness program.
